Station. I saw lst complainant identify the wrist watch

Exh.C am fountain pen and pencil Exh.B. Second complainant

was shown some ".K. money and Macau money. She identified

the Macau money as similar in denomination and in number

to those stolen from her. The H.K. money she could not

identify, but she said it was similar in appearance to

whet she had lost. On 21/2/46 I was handed a Conklin

fountain pen by Insp. Mc Cahey who informed me it had been

recovered from a second hand dealer at instigation of 2nd

deft. I identify Exh.F.. as su ch pen. On 22/2/46 Mr.

Jackson Chan of 114 Caine Rd. visited C.I.D. office, Central

Police Station. There he identified pen Exh. F as his and

which had been taken from him in an armed robbery on 9/2/46.

I charged the two defts. with this latter of fence. Money

reported to be stolen on 19/2/46 was approximately $435 and

the money found on the persons of defts. was $336. The amount

of Macau money found on defts. tallied with amount rep or ted

to have been stolen during the robbery.

WỪ TING dd: Cwner of second hand stall at corner of

Stanley & D'Aguilar St. I remember Police coming to my

stall on 21/2/46 to search for lost pen. They discovered

fountain pen Exh.F. 5/6 days previously it had been sold

to me. 2nd deft. brought pen for sale. He wanted $35.

Bargain struck at $26 and I bought it for that amount.

I asked if pen belonged to him and he said he had come

from the interior with the pen. Pen taken over by Police

on day they came to search. I am quite sure 2nd deft.

sold me the pen. No mis take whatsoever.
